The fuel ship arrived this week. It was amazing to see the Oden ice breaker clearing a path for this huge ship as it slowly made its way toward the ice pier. Once the ship empties its holds it will head back out to sea and make way for the cargo ship that should arrive on the ice in a week or so.
We had Castle Rock all to ourselves on Thursday. The rock was emanating warmth and we both took a little snooze in the sunshine. I thought I heard Zoe barking and birds tweeting, then I woke up and wondered what in the world I was doing here in this frozen wasteland. A jarring moment. Isn't it wonderful to see Scotty though?!
