The Kiwis were kind enough to put on the Polar Plunge this year at Scott Base. I was the first American to jump in the 28 degree water, and we all went naked. Kind of daunting after all the young fit Kiwi women jumped in their bathing suits. In this picture, it may look like she was looking at a runaway droopy boob, but in fact she was checking my harness ;)
After having kids, you tend to lose some modesty - that, plus visiting Mark and Kristen up in Haines, Alaska where people congregate au natural in hot tubs and saunas, will cure anyone from being shy about disrobing :) I Photoshopped out the essential parts so that my kids will still speak to me after viewing the blog.
Damn, it was SO cold. Took my breath away and my nose filled with super salty water. Thirty women were cheering and laughing on this side of the hole. Notice the mini ice bergs in the water...

you have lost your freakin' mind! FYI....not EVERY woman that has had a baby is willing to run around neck'ed....only those willing to run a marathon on the bottom of the earth! xoxo ;)
