The Swedish ice breaker, the Oden, is here! It's been lots of fun seeing it come in. It seems to be the signal for the season winding up. Killer whales and penguins should be making appearances in the swath it cut. OH, and Scott called me at 4:40 am to tell me he is on the manifest to come back to McMurdo tomorrow! Still, I have enough experience on the ice to know that I shouldn't get really excited until the plane has actually landed. Still, I couldn't go back to sleep :)
