People down here are serious about pretty much any sport they do. Dodge ball is no exception - people were pegging the ball at each other like fast ball pitches in baseball. Zoiks!
Elizabeth's team even had plays, which included lying down on the ground at one point.
I hadn't played dodge ball since 7th grade. Back then we called it Slaughter Ball. That would have been more appropriate for what happened to my team :)
