Joe is such an inspiration! He is kind, wise, healthy, and already planning more adventures after his time on the ice. He and his wife are traveling on to China after this! He also is a driver of the red Jammer busses up at Glacier National Park during the summer, so we will get to see him when we visit Elizabeth.
The whole dining room sang happy birthday to Joe last night! Joe spent his life running a pig farm in Illinois and has 5 children. His only regret in life is not finishing his college degree, but he figures he still has time ;-) If you ever ask him to do something, he will reply with an enthusiastic "Obakayba!" We love Joe!
