More pics of Queen Charlotte Hike

Sting Rays swam all around us in the shallows - very docile creatures, but we kept our distance.
The sea water felt so good on our feet after 15 miles of hiking.
Love the green urchin and the blue eye

Our luggage was brought to these kind of piers each day and we collected our tents and food and set up camp each night.
Doesn't this look like a dell, whatever a dell might be...
Marborough Sounds seen from the trail

Tree ferns
The national symbol of NZ

Wiped out after the longest day
The end of the track. I fed these little ducklings the last of our gorp - we had only packed just enough food. Ew, our last lunch was slimy sardines on stale flour tortillas. Blick.
The boat ride home. Ahhh.

I love the urchin eye picture! It reminds me of another pic I have of Scott's eye haha. Cutie ducklings! I think I'd be freaked out by the stingrays... I don't like creepy underwater beasts! Amazing, amazing pictures again! So much vibrant life! Love yous!
